Productivity Coach ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Productivity Coach mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

Screen Time & Usage Data: The app collects information about your device usage patterns, including which apps you use and how long you use them. This data is used to generate insights, track progress toward your goals, and power the AI coaching features.

Goals & Preferences: When you set productivity goals, configure focus sessions, or interact with features, we store your preferences to personalize your experience.

AI Coaching Conversations: Messages you send to the AI Coach are transmitted to our backend servers to generate responses. Conversation history is used to provide contextual, personalized coaching.

Account Information: If you create an account or subscribe to premium features, we collect the information necessary to manage your subscription (processed securely through Google Play).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide screen time tracking and usage insights
• Power the AI coaching experience with personalized advice
• Generate daily briefings and micro-challenges
• Track your goals and streaks
• Improve the app's features and user experience

3. Data Storage & Security

Most of your data — including screen time statistics, goals, and preferences — is stored locally on your device. AI coaching conversations are sent to our secure backend servers for processing and are not shared with third parties.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data during transmission and storage. Our backend infrastructure uses encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data transfers.

4. Third-Party Services

The app may use the following third-party services:

• Google Play Billing: For processing subscription payments. Google's privacy policy applies to payment data.
• AI Processing: Your coaching messages are processed through our AI backend to generate responses. We do not sell or share this data with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data only in the following circumstances:

• When required by law or legal process
• To protect the safety and security of our users
• With service providers who assist in operating the app (under strict confidentiality agreements)

7. Children's Privacy

We retain your data for as long as you use the app and maintain an active account. If you request data deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days of receiving the request. Locally stored data is removed when you uninstall the app.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the app or via email. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
